Product Review: Ridgid K-45AF-5 Autofeed Drain Cleaning Machine Kit - 230v
Great heavy duty machine. You are getting a lot of machine for your money if you buy this. The product I purchased is much better than the slightly cheaper option (cheaper option is machine only with one 8mm cable), as in addition to the machine you get a sturdy professional steel carry case, another operating cable (0ver 10 metres in length and thicker at 10mm), heavy duty operating gloves, and the tool set with all of the different cable ends and cutters. The small difference in price between the two options makes the more expensive option the best option by far.

If you only need a machine for smaller household pipes I dont think there is a need to buy the bigger drain cleaning machines that can run to massively over the

We recently updated our central heating boiler and the installer provided a simple wireless room thermostat to control the overall household temperature. We used a wireless system to avoid having to run cables and being forced to redecorate. The thermostat was fine for limiting the upper temperature and energy usage until members of the family worked out how to over-ride the settings to run the house at a more tropical heat. Description: The solenoid assembly is plumbed in on the water supply to the urinal cistern. The connection to the infrared sensor is made either by directly mounting the sensor module onto the solenoid or by using the 'floating socket' supplied for a remote mounting. If mounted remotely, the sensor module may be:
Surface mounted using a standard pattress box.
Recessed into a suspended ceiling using the 'flush mounting kit' (FMK), supplied with the IRC as standard.
If the sensor detects no occupancy in 12 hours it will automatically open the valve for 30 minutes to allow one flush of the cistern to rinse the urinals and pipe work.
The sequence is designed to maximise battery life, giving approximately 3 years' life from one good quality set of batteries.
The flow rate of the water into the cistern is adjustable to maximise water economy. Generally this should be set so that the cistern flushes once every time the valve is opened. i.e. every 30 minutes during occupation.
The solenoid is supplied with an interchangeable valve seat which is used to increase the flow to the cistern on low pressure supplies.
