Product Review: The mutt's nuts more like
I took a risk and brought this on spec from the information on Amazon.
I had a job to remove three sets of taps and for the first time I found that my existing basin wrenches weren't up to the job. On two basins there just physically wasn't room to turn the wrench without striking the porcelain.
This kit did the job perfectly and easily. The back nut that winds onto the threaded pipe below the tap ensures that the socket cannot twist or rock out of line. So all of the force is directed to undoing the nut.
A great bit of kit. Could be cheaper but it is well engineered.
The plastic box it comes in has flimsy catches, for the money it could have come in a metal box with proper fasteners but I am so pleased with the efficient way it does the job I'm prepared to forgive it.

Product Review: Olive RT
Having seen the tool used by fellow engineers, I wanted one as they make the work so much easier. There is no damage to the pipe that the old olive comes off from, no swarf that can enter the pipework and cause other problems. Value for money, YES

This puller simply utilises the compression fitting locking nut to remove the olive from the tube.
With all the major parts of the tool turned from brass, this olive puller provides a quick and reliable remedy to removing most 15 and 22 mm olives.
Product Review: Highly advise!
When nuts are too tight up to the olive that normal olive cutters can't get in this is the tool you need!

Made with octagon at the base of the cylindrical section to enable really tight immersion heaters to be loosened by striking the handle.
The one-piece casting enables full transmission of power to the spanner unlike loose tommy bar types.
Overall clearance around the spanner is 7/8in (22mm) allowing easier fitting on insulated copper cylinders.
Size 86mm (3 3/8 AF)
Product Review: Heavy Gauge Spanner

Product Review: Excellent device for controlling heating
Was unsure about these devices being worth the money, but I have now bought 3 for rooms upstairs. They are very easy to program and use. I particularly like the fact that you can disconnect the timer from the valve to program it in comfort without having to get on your hands and knees. Time zones are easily managed along with a high and a low temperature setting. The big advantage to me is I can now turn the heating on downstairs in the day knowing that the radiators in my bedrooms will stay off with out me having to run up and down the stairs ( which I never did) to control them. Then in the evenings they now come on at the right time when most benificial. Another great feature is the simple manual override which is just like a normal dial which you turn to increase or decrease heat. As long as they are not too greedy on batteries and stay reliable, it has been costing me about
